As soon as the Gothic Girl opened the basement door, Octavia tried to back away. Black Sally pulled a gun from under her shirt and held it to Octavia's head. The Gothic Girl said, “If you don’t get down there, we’re going to throw you down the stairs.” Octavia’s face showed fear and confusion. I was beginning to wonder if she really was just a good, hardworking Christian girl. When we got to the bottom of the stairs, Octavia saw the blood-stained torture table. She shrieked and tried to run back up the stairs. We grabbed her and carried her flailing and screaming to the table. Brianna came down the stairs and rushed to help us.

We held Octavia’s arms and legs down and fastened the restraints around her wrists and ankles. She cried, “Please, please. I told you the truth. Please, Lavinia knows I’m telling the truth.”

Black Sally stepped forward with a large pair of scissors and began cutting off Octavia’s skirt. I pulled off her loafers and threw them to the side. Brianna tore open her shirt. The woman continued to beg and cry, “Please, please God help me. STOP! NOOO!” Sally cut the woman’s panties, jerked them from her body, then she shoved them in Octavia’s mouth. The Gothic Girl stood over Octavia’s head and said, “I know that you’re telling the truth Octavia. We’re not going to torture you to find out if you’re a spy or anything like that. Your Grandmother sent you here knowing that this would happen to you.”

Octavia shook her head, tears streamed down the sides of her face, she spit the panties out of her mouth and sobbed. Black Sally took off her shirt. Her back was covered with a Yakuza-style dragon tattoo; she lit a cigarette and stood over Octavia.

The Gothic Girl said, “Your Grandmother sent you here to suffer Octavia. She sent you here to be tortured and humiliated and violated until your ego is destroyed and your personality is split down the middle.”

Sally burned Octavia on the stomach with her cigarette. She screamed and jerked around. Sally took another drag and pressed the hot ember against Octavia’s nipple. She arched her back, veins pops out in her neck, she wailed, “NOOOO! AAAHAAHNOOO!”

The Gothic Girl said, “Your Grandmother just wants you to realize your full potential. You may as well get all that ‘Stop, Please, No’ shit out of your system now. It’s not going to help you. You will experience the kind of pain and suffering, that you always prayed you would never come close to feeling.”

Black Sally put her cigarette out on the Octavia’s labia. Her screams were cut short when the Gothic Girl shoved the panties back in Octavia’s mouth and covered it with duct tape. Sally pulled her knife, a five inch double-edged dagger. She grabbed Octavia’s right index finger, inserted the blade under fingernail and pried it out. The Gothic Girl climbed on the table and knelt between Octavia’s legs. She forced her fingers into Octavia’s pussy; first two, then three, then four. Sally dug out another fingernail. I couldn’t see Octavia’s face from where I stood. However, I could see the Gothic Girl kneeling between Octavia’s legs with her hand in her vagina all the way to the wrist. The Gothic Girl pulled her hand out of Octavia’s pussy and jumped off the table. She went to the cabinet and pulled out a length of hose. Then the basement light went out and all was black. I heard someone rummaging through a drawer to my left, a flashlight came on in the Gothic Girl’s hand. She shined the light on Sally and Octavia. Sally took her blade and sliced a long strip of skin from the woman’s side, then she laid the flesh across Octavia’s eyes. The meat mallet came flying off the shelf and clanged across the floor. The Gothic Girl grabbed a pair of pliers from the shelf and pinched the soft flesh in Octavia’s armpit between the steel. She squeezed and twisted the pliers while Sally sliced off another strip of flesh. The table started shaking, then it flipped over on its side.

It took all four of us to lift the table back upright with Octavia still strapped to it. The Gothic Girl shined the flashlight on Octavia’s face, she was soaked in sweat, her eyes rolled back in her head. Sally pulled the tape from her mouth and pulled the panties out. She looked at the Gothic Girl, “This one is going to be dangerous, she’s telekinetic.”

I heard Lavinia’s voice in my head, “Come to my room. Now!” I went upstairs followed by Brianna. When we got to Lavinia’s room, she was sitting up in a large blood-red armchair. A crimson blanket covered her bandaged stumps. Her face was still completely bandaged over except for her mouth. Her raven black hair had been brushed and twisted up in a bun, a long shiny hairpin protruded from each side. She wore a black and burgundy kimono. Incense burned on the altar.

Lavinia’s voice said, “You two are the first of the new breed. You are called upon to bring back the spirit and traditions of old. All of my slaves will bow before this altar and worship the Goddess.” Brianna and I both dropped to our knees before the altar and bowed our heads to the ground. “You will bring sacrifices to this altar, you will draw strength from the suffering of your prey before this altar, you will fornicate in the blood of your victims before this altar and before this altar you will consume the meat.

“This family has a long history. We have survived wars, plagues, famine, persecution, slavery, acts of genocide. We’ve always been there, in the shadows, watching, listening, lurking. Once, all of the families were united, now we all exist in isolation. This will soon change. We will no longer be stationary; spending generations in one house drinking tea like old ladies. We will move and expand and thrive, this is the road to Empire. You two must be constantly making yourselves stronger. I want realization and strengthening exercises to be taking place in this house on a daily basis. When you’re not strengthening and training, you will be hunting.

“This is no place for the timid or weak. This is no place for those who fear self-realization. You are to be like warriors living, fighting, killing and dying for the Goddess first and then for the family. You must learn to use your telepathic abilities. “Brianna, leave!” Brianna got to her feet and hurried out the door. “Stand up slave. ” I rose to my feet. “You don’t go to Sally with questions about your ability, or lack thereof. You come to me. Sally is an efficient killer, but a weak telepathic. Everyone has the ability to some degree. Most don’t realize it’s there or have any idea how to get in touch with it. Since everyone has it, anyone’s head can be broken into. It’s a matter of strength and skill. When you get stronger, you’ll be able to able to penetrate people’s minds at will, then manipulate them and enslave them. But it will take time and it will come at a cost. Learn to identify foreign voices in your head. Train yourself not to answer questions that pop up in your mind out of the blue. If you know someone is trying to get in your head, get away from them. If they persist, kill them. We will be dealing with other families, houses and cults in the near future. It is very important that you be able to defend yourself.

“It will be your job to keep the other slaves in line. My commands always come first. Damijana’s and Sally’s come second. Those two have been in this family for a long time. You are not their equal and they will punish you as they see fit. They will be the ones who direct the breaking down of new members; as well as building you all back up, and teaching you to turn your ability into a craft. I will oversee and direct everything. You are not strong enough to carry on constant conversations in your head. When the conversation ends, your mind will keep on talking to itself and you’ll go crazy. Your ability poses a great danger to your sanity. Get ready to go the table for dinner. Get your mind ready for the hunt.”
