Lenore cleaned and dressed my wounds, stopped the bleeding in my mouth and handed me three pills. She said: “Take these. Your room is at the end of the hall on the right, it’s the open door.” I swallowed the pills with water, thanked her and found my room. The room was very small and contained only a bed, nightstand, lamp and an empty closet. I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes.

I awoke to Lenore standing by the bed. She wore a bright yellow summer dress that ended just above her knees, a big yellow hat and huge yellow-rimmed sunglasses. After just opening my eyes, it felt like I was looking into the sun. “Get up and come downstairs, it’s breakfast.” She walked out the room. I watched the fluid movement of her calves, thighs and ass. I hungered for her, my morning erection swelled till it hurt.

After putting on my robe, I limped to the door and down the long hallway. One of the doors opened and the tall red-headed woman appeared in gray coveralls and pigtails. She stepped in front of me and handed me a similar pair of coveralls. “Don’t go to breakfast in your robe, put these on. Here are socks, your shoes are downstairs.” Then she went back into her room and shut the door. I changed into the coveralls right there in the hall.

When I got to the bottom of stairs, I saw Lenore standing by the foyer with her arms crossed. She looked impatient. “Your shoes are right there. Let’s go we can‘t be late.” I sat on the floor, took a deep breath and pulled my right shoe on. My bandaged toe sent off sirens in my head as my whole body was squeezed in a grip of pain.

Lenore led me into the dining room where there was a long table. Lavinia, sat at one end, Antonija sat at the other. Antonija again wore the black shawl and scarf, Lavinia wore a blood-red version of the Victorian-style dress she wore the day before. Once again, the hair pins caught my attention, reminding me of the Gothic Girl. A woman with short blonde hair sat to Antonija’s right. The woman looked to be in her early thirties, wearing a black paramilitary style outfit. She motioned to me and said, “You sit here,” pointing at the seat to her right. I took the seat next to her, Lenore sat down next to me; placing her to next to Lavinia. The red-head, Native woman and Artese entered, all wearing gray coveralls. The red-head sat to Lavinia’s right followed by the Native woman, and then Artese.

I looked at the plate in front of me; half a grapefruit, toast and a hard boiled egg. Ira came in and began pouring coffee. My mouth and jaw were still extremely sore from the previous evenings extraction. I still managed to eat, chewing on the opposite side of my mouth. The woman with the short blonde hair looked at Lavinia and said, “I have a friend outside. I’ll bring him inside shortly.”

Lavinia replied, “Where did you get him?”

“At the gettin’ place.” She turned to me, “Clarence, my name is Sally.”

“It’s nice to meet you.”

“The pleasure is all mine. We have something special planned for today. I look forward to your participation.”

“I’d be happy…”

“You can save the niceties. Just make sure you act when called upon.” She looked around the table. “I want to use the shed.”

Lavinia asked, “Where exactly is the ‘gettin’ place’ Sally?”

“What does it matter? Some bar.”

“What is he doing outside?”

“He’s in my van sleeping.”

“Go wake him up and get him in here. I don’t want him to wake up and start wandering around out there. Lenore, go sit in the living room.”

Antonija rose from the table, “I’m going to my room. Be careful and clean up your mess.”

Lavinia replied, “We always do.”

After Antonia left the room, Black Sally got up and left. Lavinia turned to the red-head and said, “Selene, take Clarence and go sit in the den. Wait for my bell.” The woman who I had formerly only known as “the red-head”, Selene, motioned with her head for me to follow, then she got up and started out the room. I quickly got up and followed.

At first, I felt awkward sitting alone in a room with Selene. She was quick to break the silence, “I want something from you.”

“What?”

“I want time alone with you in the basement.” I didn’t know what to say in response. I was in no hurry to spend one-on-one time with the woman who pulled out my tooth with pliers, whipped me with a cord and prepared to electrocute me less than 12 hours earlier. She saw the look of concern on my face, “Don’t agonize over it too much Clarence. You have no choice in the matter anyway. I will come get you when I’m ready for you.”

“I can say no.”

“No you cannot. You have no clue how things work here. You can thank Lenore, she’s not telling you what you need to know. She would like nothing better than to see you fail. If she was doing her job, you would already know that if I ask you for something, and you have it, you have to give it to me.”

“So you can just request to take me downstairs to pull my teeth out anytime?”

“If that’s what I wanted, yes! You are always supposed to be ready to sacrifice anything and everything for any member of this family. If you need something, and I have it, I will give it to you. You needed clothes this morning and I provided you with them.”

“Does that mean I can ask you…”

She squinted her eyes and interrupted me, “Just slow down Clarence. You don’t even know what I want to do with you yet. Watch how the system works for awhile before you get any ideas. I can be a friend to you and help make sure that you come out of this thing in one piece. You wouldn’t tell on me last night, not even when you thought that you were about to get your nuts cut off. I’m the only person in this house who has a reason to trust you, that means that I’m probably the only person in this house who you have a reason to trust. So…later tonight I want some time alone with you in the basement.”

“Okay.” My heart pounded in fear and anticipation. Selene sat there staring at me with a smirk on her face. It was like she was hypnotizing me with her large, beautiful green eyes. A bell rang. Selene said, “That’s our cue,” we got up and made our way to the living-room.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in the living was the man in the leather jacket laid out face down on the floor. Lavinia and Black Sally were standing over the man engaged in a heated discussion. Lavinia pointed at the man on the floor and asked, “Where did you get him?”

“I told you, I met him in a bar.”

“What kind of bar?”

“Some shitty little bar in town.”

“Why did he ask Lenore if she liked to be spanked?”

“Lenore does like to be spanked.”

“Selene, go get that duffel bag over there.” Lavinia walked over to a window and stared out, “Sally, what’s going to be in the bag?”

“I don’t know, probably his perv kit.”

Selene got the duffel bag and brought it to Lavinia. Lavinia sat down and opened it. Then she dumped the contents out on the floor. “Rope, dildos, flogger, clothes pins and I don’t know what this is. Sally, why did you bring this guy here?”

“You know why I brought him here. I don’t see what the problem is.”

“The problem is that this asshole probably checks in with someone when he goes to the buffet to have dinner with his grandmother.”

“What are you talking about?”

“If you just grab some random asshole out the bar, he disappears into the night with you and that’s that. They don’t call their buddy and tell them to send the police to your house if he’s not home by the next morning. Assholes like this do. How many people saw you leave with him?”

“I drove him here, he has only been on the phone twice and I heard everything he said. He never knew exactly where he was going. So there was nothing for him to tell.”

“You did this on purpose. This is something you’ve wanted to do for a long time.” Lavinia sat back and shook her head, “Selene, I want you, Clarence and Atrese to drag him out to the shed. Don‘t waste anytime. I don‘t know how long he‘ll be out. I want him up on the chains before he wakes up.”

We drug the man out the back door, past the kennels with the barking dogs and into a large shed behind the house. It was more like a small barn. We pulled his leather jacket, boots and clothes off. Atrese, with very little effort, grabbed the man’s hair, sat him up, wrapped her arms around him, stood him up and held him there. Chains hung from a beam up above. Selene tossed me a leather wrist-cuff. I put it on the man’s left wrist. I copied Selene as she raised the man’s arm in the air and attached it to one of the chains hanging from the beam. Atrese let go. The man hung there slumped forward.

Lavinia, Black Sally and Lenore entered the barn. Black Sally sat down on a work bench against the wall. She lit a cigarette, “You know, when we were driving out here, this guy was explaining to me that he is a sadist.”

Lavinia shot her a fiery look, “I knew this wasn’t a coincidence.”

“What can I say? I was getting bored reeling in the same schmucks. I’m interested in how he will react.”

Lavinia paced back in forth in front of the unconscious man. She said, “Isabel, smelling salt.” The Native woman, Isabel, put smelling salt under the man’s nose. The man slowly regained consciousness. “What the fuck is going on?” He looked around the shed, he looked down at his naked body, he looked up at the chains, “Alright, let my hands out.” Lavinia stood in front of the man. “I know what you were going to do to my sister you sick motherfucker!”

“What?”

“I found your duffel bag. You were going to rape and torture my sister.”

“No, no. You don’t understand.”

“What the fuck was the rope for?”

The man looked to Sally, “Christine, what is this?” Black Sally blew out a smoke ring then coolly replied, “You took advantage of me.”

“What? We never even did anything?” Lavinia said, “But you thought you were going to do something today didn’t you? You were going to tie her up and whip her like a dog, weren’t you?”

The man looked hard at Lavinia. It seemed that his head had cleared and he was trying to assess the situation. He said, “If this is some kind of game, this isn’t way this is supposed to be done. You need to get me down. My hands are numb and this, this isn’t safe.”

“Safe?” Lavinia asked, “Isabel, get him a hard-hat.” Isabel went to box in the corner and came back with a blue hard-hat. She placed it on the man’s head. Lavinia smiled and said, “Safety first.”

“Ha ha, very funny. You need to let me down right now. This isn’t cool.” Lavinia laughed, “My sister said you’re a sadist, is that true?”

“This isn’t the way this is supposed to be done.”

“I’ll take that as a yes. Believe it or not, I have been called a sadist on more than one occasion. I tend to prefer ‘That Sick Sadistic Bitch’, but to each his own. Being someone who is experienced in the sadistic arts, do you have any suggestions as to how I should go about torturing you?”

“Look, if you’re just playing around, you need to stop right now before this goes any farther.” The man asked a question in the form of a demand. He seemed to becoming more concerned about the “if” than the lack of circulation to his hands. Lavinia walked over and removed a box from a shelf on the wall. She looked at the man, “Ok, since you have no suggestions, we will use one of my favorite toys.” Lavinia opened the box. She pulled out a chain that had been removed from a chainsaw and opened to stretch to its full length. One end of the chain was attached to what appeared to be a wooden jump rope handle. The man ordered, “Do not touch me with that. Do you understand? If you touch with that, I guarantee you there will be consequences to pay and you’re not gonna like it?” Isabel laughed. Lavinia began swinging the chain and spinning it above her head.

All eyes followed Lavinia and the chain as it sliced through the air with a heavy, ominous whistle. Lavinia grazed the man’s chest drawing blood. “Stop! Stop! You can’t do this.” Lavinia stood still, spinning the chain to her side. She said, “What? Am I doing it wrong? I am, aren’t I? Is this where I’m supposed to stand?” She took a position to the man’s right and about 8 inches behind him. With one quick fluid motion, she struck him across the stomach with the chain, wrapping it almost all the way around him; then she gave the chain a short jerk to hook the blades into his skin and pulled the chain in toward her body so the blades tore a straight line through his flesh. The man roared like a bear, then screamed like toddler as she cut lines across his torso with the chain. The man’s ribs were exposed in more than a few places. Lavinia moved gracefully in front of the man; she looked like a dancing demon in her blood-red gown, spinning her vicious instrument above her head, and from side to side. She moved behind the man and sliced through both of his Achilles’ heels. He screamed, pulled on his chains and struggled before slumping forward. The man looked at the floor, shivering and took long, deep breaths. Lavinia moved back in front of the man, still spinning the chain. She said, “Look at me!” The man looked up and Lavinia slashed him across the face with the chain. His entire upper lip hung from corner of his mouth.

Lavinia put the chain back in the box. She pulled a gallon container of bleach from the shelf. “Safety first, right? I wouldn’t want those wounds to get infected.” The man didn’t see the bleach till she was standing in front of him. He shook his head and grunted. Lavinia knocked the hard hat off the man's head, then dumped the gallon of bleach down his head and chest. The man jerked around violently like he was having a seizure, he flung his head back and forth, causing his dangling upper lip to fly off. He screamed in a way I will never forget. He screamed until he lost consciousness.

Lavinia threw the bleach container to the side and snapped her fingers three times. Isabel grabbed a folding chair that was leaning against the wall. She unfolded the chair and placed it behind Lavinia. Black Sally said, “Clarence, come here.” I walked to where she was sitting on the work bench. She handed me a knife and said, “When I tap you on the shoulder, go cut his throat.” I nodded my head. I turned back around. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

Lavinia was sitting slouched on the chair, her gown was pulled up to her waist in the front. She wore black thigh high stockings and garter belts. Her hand was in her blood-red panties. She masturbated, breathing heavily, as she stared at the mutilated man in front of her. Her breathing grew heavier and heavier. She started moaning and making faces. Black Sally tapped me on the shoulder.

I didn’t think, I didn’t hesitate. I walked straight over to the man and sliced his throat. I turned around to see Lavinia. Her eyes were closed, back arched, her mouth was wide open in a ferocious grimace. Her face turned almost red as her dress, then she shouted in a way that was more like a war cry than a scream of ecstasy.

Selene came over to where I was standing. She pulled a large Ziploc freezer bag from her pocket, grabbed the knife from my hand and pushed me out of the way. She cut the man’s abdomen open, removed his liver and placed it in the bag. Selene looked at Lenore, “Take this to Ira.” Lenore grabbed the bag and exited the shed.

Lavinia got up from her chair and straightened out her gown. She said, “Teach Clarence how to cut up a body. Hurry up. I’m hungry.”
